The market leader in road marking technology reacts decisively to the novel coronavirus

Rellingen, 10 March 2020 - Five weeks before the international trade fair for infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking, HOFMANN GmbH is cancelling its participation. In doing so, the market leader in road marking technology is assuming social responsibility for its employees. INTERTRAFFIC Amsterdam will bring together a specialist audience of around 30,000 people from all over the world from April 21 to 24, 2020. In order to prevent the rapid spread of the corona virus, experts from the Robert Koch Institute and the relevant authorities recommend that events with more than 1,000 participants should be avoided. HOFMANN GmbH follows this advice for the protection of its employees and not least as a measure to put an end to the pandemic.

"Even if the decision is difficult for us, the health of our employees and clients has top priority," emphasizes Managing Director Jan Hofmann. "With this measure, we want to ensure that nobody gets infected at this large international fair. At the moment, the health risk is simply too high for everyone involved!"

Thus the Rellinger family-owned company also takes on a pioneering role within the industry in the social sector. "HOFMANN stands for safety in traffic and protection on the road," says Torsten Pape. "This also applies to the protection of our employees and clients from infections."
